Abacus Inspection Service

Martin Newmark has inspected homes since 2004 through Abacus Inspection Service in Louisville, covering the Denver and Boulder area. Radon testing is one of its listed services, including 48-hour tests used in real estate transactions and longer tests when time allows, placed on the lowest occupiable level of the home. Martin is an ASHI Certified Residential Inspector with a background in home construction and energy efficiency. He explains how mitigation works, with a drilled slab hole, piping and a fan, and a sealed plastic membrane over crawlspace soil, and notes that a result of 4.0 pCi/L or higher in a sale calls for a system. The business inspects and tests rather than installing systems. Rated 4.5 from 17 Google reviews, 15 of them five stars. Call to confirm radon testing details.
