Prospector Home Inspections

Prospector Home Inspections is a Carbondale home inspector serving the Roaring Fork Valley and the I-70 corridor. Radon testing is part of its service, run as a 48 hour test under closed door conditions with current equipment. Radon is described as the second leading cause of lung cancer, and testing is treated as an important step in a Colorado home inspection. It tests for radon but does not install mitigation systems. The inspector also uses thermal imaging with a moisture meter to look for water damage and offers lender inspections and draw inspections. The aim is to educate the homeowner so a buyer understands the home's systems and any issues found, including high radon readings that call for mitigation by another contractor.
